These are the challenges included in the guiding round the world section of our Wise Owl booklet.
Often we work on a challenge in a small group, but sometimes the whole Pack is involved.


Adventure

A1) Find out why the 22nd Feb is special in Guiding and take part in a Thinking Day celebration.
A2) Find out about the Brownie uniform and Promise badge from another country.
A3) Find out what law and promise is made by a Brownie in another country.
A4) Learn a Brownie song from another country.
A5) Play a Brownie game from another country.
A6) Find out what WAGGGS stands for and where the five Guiding regions are.
A7) Find out where the five world centres are and make a jigsaw puzzle from a picture of one of them.
A8) Send a letter to a Brownie in another country.
A9) Take part in a theme evening that helps you learn more about Guiding in another country.
A10) Do another Guiding around the world challenge.




Adventure On

AO1) Find out where there are Brownies in other parts of the world and make a poster to show others.
AO2) Make a friendship circle showing the Brownie uniform of five different countries.
AO3) Find out what law and promise is made by Brownies in at least three other countries.
AO4) Find out about Brownie meetings in another country.
AO5) Try the clauses from a Brownie badge that is not British.
AO6) Find out about projects that help members of the Guide Association around the world.
AO7) Find out something about each of the five world centres and undertake an activity related to them.
AO8) Make a cassette tape for a Brownie in another country.
AO9) Help to organise a theme evening about Guiding in another country.
AO10) Do another Guiding around the world challenge.
