Different Cultures

These are the challenges included in the different cultures section of our Wise Owl booklet.
Often we work on a challenge in a small group, but sometimes the whole Pack is involved.


Adventure

A1) Learn a traditional form of dance from another country.
A2) Make a piece of artwork based on the art of another country.
A3) Make a puppet from another culture.
A4) Make a mask from another culture.
A5) Make a craft from another culture.
A6) Take part in a traditional performance from another culture.
A7) Learn how to greet people from three different countries in their traditional way.
A8) Take part in an activity that helps you learn about homes in another country.
A9) Invite someone to your meeting whose culture is different from your own. Find out what things you have in common and what are different.
A10) Do another challenge based on a different culture.

AO9) Does everyone in Britain share the same culture? Undertake an activity or take part in a discussion based on this question.
AO10) Do another challenge based on a different culture.
