5th Rainham Brownies
Some recent meetings and trips

In December we
went to
Gillingham Ice Bowl to see Peter Pan performed on ice. |

In January we
wrote to a Junior Girl Scout Troop in California. |
In May we invited
a man to
come and talk to us about Owls. He brought an Owl with him, and some of
us had our photograph taken with it. Afterwards we brought in money to
adopt an Owl from his Sanctuary. The Owl is called Coco. |
||
In June 2004 we
had a district sleepover to celebrate Brownies' 90th Birthday. As part of the sleepover we acted a play about the founding of Guiding..... DON'T FORGET POOR OLD AGNES!

In August we went
on Pack Holiday. Our theme was Christmas. To find out more see our Pack Holiday Section. |

In September we wrote letters to the Queen! We received a reply from her Lady in Waiting and were sent some information sheets about the Queen. | In November we had a Guy Fawkes theme evening. In December we
had a Hannukkah themed evening. We made dreidals and ate Latkes and

In December we
also invited parent's to our meeting to raise money. We raised enough
money to readopt Co-co and decided to send the surplus to the Tsunami
appeal in January. |

In December we
also went to London. We went on the London Eye and in ICANDO. Whilst we
were in London we met up with 4th
Cambridge Brownies. |

In February we
took part in a district Thinking Day. We represented the USA. We
performed songs from Annie. |
||
In February we
also went to see The Jungle Book at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford. We
had a meal at the theatre prior to the performance. |
