5th Rainham Brownies
Thinking Day
|
Thinking Day is on the 22nd Febuary. On this day
we think about members of the Guiding Association all round the world. |
District
celebrations Sometimes we prepare a short internationally themed performance which we share with the rest of the district and our parents. Sometimes we get together with other Packs and make international crafts. |
District Thinking Day 2003 |
Pack
celebrations In the past we have found out about Brownies from many different parts of the world, played games, sung songs, tried crafts and eaten food that comes from other countries. There are several Brownie badges with an international theme that we have gained. |
Thinking Day 2004 (Our Pack celebration)
Our parents came to watch as we performed several entertainments from
around the world. We raised money for the World Thinking Day Fund and
the RSPCA. |

Thinking Day 2004 (District
celebration) We spent a day trying activities that were
from different countries or on a world theme. We tried crafts which
included making a camel, cooked food such as pizzas, had flags painted
on our faces and tried out dancing from different countries.

Thinking Day 2005 (District
celebration) Each unit had chosen a country and performed
something from or related to that country. We had chosen the United
States of America. We performed songs from Annie - It's a Hard Knock
Life, You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile and Tomorrow.
